Michael is a Board-Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability Law and has successfully represented disabled individuals – both children and adults – in a wide range of Social Security disability and SSI cases. Michael handles disability and SSI cases at every level of the application and appeal process.
Michael received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 2001 and his J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2005.
Michael is a member of North Carolina Advocates for Justice – Disability Advocates Section, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. He is a past member of the Board of Directors and fundraising committee for Crisis Control Ministry in Winston-Salem and remains active in his surrounding community.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children, family and friends. He and his wife love to cook and travel. Michael is also an avid sports fan, and particularly loves ACC basketball and football.
